All individuals in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador who wish to practice as a Respiratory Therapist must be registered. Licensing of Respiratory Therapists is done under umbrella legislation and involves the Newfoundland & Labrador Council of Health Professionals and the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Respiratory Therapists.

New Applicants: The Registration Process is through the Newfoundland & Labrador Council of Health Professionals. All Registration Forms are available on their web site http://nlchp.ca/index.php. under “ Registration/ Regulation”. The forms are under “Registration” and the information pertaining to completion of the forms is under “Registration Process”.
